Performer, director, musician, and storyteller.
A graduate of Choreography and Dance Techniques at the Academy of Music in Łódź and the Academy of Theatre Practices in Gardzienice. Recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, as well as the international KEYCHANGE program. She composes, arranges, and performs music, including on original bowed string instruments of her own creation.
Co-creator of the internationally acclaimed music projects SUTARI and Mehehe, with whom she has performed at major festivals and venues around the world. She has released eight music albums. Her band Sutari is one of the few Polish groups to have recorded a live session for KEXP. She brought to life the UMAI project — a universe of a tribe that does not exist but could come into being in the future.
She has received numerous awards for her artistic work at music festivals (including multiple awards at the Polish Radio Folk Festival – Nowa Tradycja and the Folk Phonogram of the Year for the albums WIANO, SIOSTRY RZEKI, TAMOJ, and CIEMNIENIE; Grand Prix at the Czech Music Crossroads Festival; and three nominations for the FRYDERYK Award), as well as theatre festivals (including the Grand Prix at the DWA TEATRY Festival, First Prize at the Festival of Theatre Art in Rybnik, and at the OFF PRemiery presentation of Teatr Ósmego Dnia).
She gained her theatrical experience through collaborations with neTTheatre (Odpoczywanie, directed by P. Passini), OPT Gardzienice (Elektra, Metamorfozy, directed by W. Staniewski), and the Theatre Institute in Warsaw (Teatralny Plac Jana Dormana, directed by Justyna Sobczyk), as well as by creating her own performances and performative readings (Szum, Lala, Watermelon, e.h.o., MAMUNA czyli Baba - Dziwo, Wyjdę Z Lasu, Wyprostuję Grzbiet I Stanie Się On Moim Mieczem).
She works in the art of storytelling by creating her own programs and narratives, and by collaborating with, among others, the group Karawana Opowieści. As a storyteller, she has performed on many stages across Poland, including multiple appearances at the International Storytelling Festival in Warsaw.
She composes music for theatre productions, radio dramas, and audiobooks.
